During the class of english 3 the learning objectives are to be able to create and support written arguments based on readings to being able to analyze and interpret things. This is valuable for my future because it gets me prepared or my future and i have an idea of what colleges may ask for when it comes to writing an essay.. The project that I am submitting as an artifact for english 3 had the following learning objectives of explaining somebody's real life experiences and how it affected them throughout their life.
The assignment or project was about writing the 3 most inspirational lessons Louis can teach us as readers of his amazing story. And required me to find the three most interesting things that happened to Louie that inspired me which made me read the top three main events that the book focuses on which are running, camp, and when Louie arrives home. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with writing down notes of small details of the topics I was looking for so it can be easier for when i do the organizen then I began writing them notes into the organizer making sure they all go together and make sense and explain the main points of the essay.Throughout this process listed above I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways of getting information put into small details and making good length sentences out of it.
The Two School Wide Learning Outcomes I demonstrated with this Artifact are mastering skills needed in career and college and thinking critically and creatively. I have demonstrated mastering skills needed in career and college by understanding what it might be like when it comes to gathering information and writing essays or any other school work that will be related to this. The Second SLO I demonstrated was thinking critically and creatively by making sentences kind of long by adding information that was relevant to the one i needed in order for it to come all together and make sense. I could have improved the following SLO better by using other resources on the web instead of just getting all the information from the book because that could of gave me different ideas on how i can write each paragraph with more supporting evidence.
Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this year were how to cite sources effectively and how books related to the topic can make it easier to get more information. The skills that i learned in this class will help me in the future so i can succeed in upcoming projects and can make it easier to do.
